There are only 2 significant views to indicate Chinese New Year in my house:
1) the word SPRING, 春 (chūn) on my front door
![]() |
| Greeting to welcome guests |
2) lots and lots of cookie jars on the side table in the living hall
![]() | ||
| Clockwise: kuih bangkit, almond cookies, pineapple tarts, muruku, chocolate almond, kuih bangkit (again). 3 tins consist of kuih kapit and homemade prawn crackers |
I'm lazy; no extra-extra decors at home and all the cookies are either bought or given by friends and family.
From TAIPING With LOVE will be back after the festival.
To all my Chinese readers,
Gōng Xǐ Fā Cái
恭喜发财
And for the rest,
A very happy holidays!!
