My daughter, Avery, is a huge fan of Lego products. I blame the father to have influence her into liking the bricks, while I would prefer her to play with dolls and dolls.
During the recent holidays, Avery's (or rather DH's) dream was realized - we traveled 600KM to South to visit Legoland in NusaJaya. The journey was exhausting and killing!
One word to describe Legoland: HOT. All my photos below are the proof of what I said.

I had to re-apply layers of sunblock lotion to make sure that we are not grilled and overly tanned. Nevertheless, we had fun and enjoyable day under the hot sunny weather~ ♥

Lego is good what..can enhance creativity. Wah really hot lah..tot of bringing my baby along to Legoland during CNY. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteHehe, I don't mind Lego actually, but my hubb is fully-loading the kids with bricks and bricks... er, at least let the girl plays with girly toys mah~ :p
DeleteI played lots of Lego when I was small but they belonged to other wealthy kids. Those days they bought them from Hong Kong. Anay just tumpang play.
ReplyDeleteI really believe the Lego sets influenced my brains....Anay cleber or not??
DeleteGals play too much dolls will grow up into bimbos like my sister.Wakakaka
DeleteI never play lego when I was a kid...
Deleteparents didn't buy for me.. :(
The first Lego I bought was a car model, for Zaini on our first Valentine's day.
DeleteKecik2 dunno what Lego is also. ;p
anay also rich kids always play with lego when he was a kid (albeit just tumpang other rich children, birds of the same feather flock together mah).. Thambee never even own any lego lah..
DeleteGals play too much dolls will grow up into bimbos like Anay's sister?? well, at least they love to buy chocolates to feed their brothers~~ :D
DeleteMy husband and I bought lots of lego for our kids..now that they are grown, I'm still keeping the lego..
DeleteAnnay is so cleber due to Lego's contribution? No wonder MM is so cleber jugak (or maybe I'm the dumb one here)! Then I must not restrict my girl to play with Lego, but being bimbo is good also wert. Like SK said, next time lil Chi will get free chocolate for lifetime, hah!
DeleteBy the way, why Minah Rempinator bought Lego for Zaini on Valentine's Day? Should have wrap herself in a box and pop up naked! Wow~
Belum kawin la... cannot be naughty. ;p
DeleteLego good la. brain power increase play that.
DeleteAll your photos looked hot and sweaty.Wah we can see Marlboro Man at last. He is so macho!
ReplyDeletehe have not hisap the cigar..
Deletethen it will be more macho....
yeah, finally we see the legendary MM aka DH!! and what a sweet happy family portrait that is!! LIKE!!!
DeleteHalow, which part of MM is macho? He'll be on cloud 9 to hear annay's walk-on-water compliments. Ah Hua will ask him to check out this comment :D
DeleteThe next day it rained so heavily. Luckily it was dry and hot at Lego land.
ReplyDeleteit rained because Ah Hua showed her hot photos to SP the next day and SP pancut!! :D
DeleteIt rained because annay prayed so hard to Tee Kong (sky god?) but it came a day late :p
DeleteAnnay forgot to do the rain dance, am I correct? It will be more effective to dance naked in circles.
Hot day not good meh? Fren went legoland kena rainy day. APA also cannot play. rugi oh
DeleteI bet your kids will forever remember they have been to Legoland. Kids love themepark, what more Legoland.
ReplyDeleteand yeah, the next family to visit Legoland will be Mak Yannie, JJ and the two princesses.. hahaha!! now i think Mak Yannie is worry about that, cos she will get tanned easily there~~ :p
DeleteI didn't see you getting tanned at all. Your sunblock works wonder la!
ReplyDeleteI hid from the sun most of the time and I re-apply them every hour. Ah Hua is so kiasi.
DeleteAs long as every one had fun, tan like Negro also nevermind right?
ReplyDeleteyalah, no matter fair or tan, Ah Hua still very pretty also mah, you think we simply give you the title Taiping Queen meh?? :p
DeleteAh Hua only gets the title Taiping Queen?? Uwahhh...
DeleteYalah, there are more pretty and beautiful ladies out there. I don't deserve the title, la. There are more Taiping-mari girls banyak cantik one.
The squinting eyes of both your lovely kids clearly shows the place is real HOT HOT HOT haha
ReplyDeletewhen I was there last dec, it was very hot too..
DeleteI thought the weather was better, wenn. Gloomy and cloudy, no?
DeleteOnce in a while traveling 600km is OK for the togetherness of family is worth the exhaustion. Whoa the kids are so lucky nowadays with daddy carrying four loads of legoland toys with left and right hand. That would cost an arm and a leg-o.
ReplyDeleteyeah, i would say kids nowadays are really lucky and blessed!! they have so much interesting things to experience.. but well, maybe of course they also missed those interesting things that we older people had experience last time.. :)
DeleteI agree with SK. Kids nowadays glue too much to TV and gadgets. They miss out the fun to play outdoor, like cycling and more.
DeleteMM discourages the kids to play with smartphone or tablet. Over-play and they will turn 'un-smart', haha!
Thus he got them some Lego to enhance their creativity :)
Play games (monitored correctly) can have its benefit also.
DeleteBalance in everything. ^^
I don't mind Raimie becoming a manga artist or a games developer. :)
OMG hot hot all the way in the South... Better hot than going there during rainy season, cant take much picture in a heavy rain n to play those games also right...
ReplyDeleteOwh just look at Lil Chi's Red Dragon plush toy... Soooo cute, just like him... Legoland is awesome, I must go there too soon.. =D
It's a fun family theme park. I can see my hubb enjoyed as much as the kids. As for me, if the weather is kinder to me, it would be more enjoyable. I'm a Puteri Lilin :p
DeleteHot? Eyewwww!!!! Not for me, no, thank you....but if it's for the kids, parents will go through anything just so they will be happy. Been there, done that...and I'm still doing it!
ReplyDeleteno need to decline la, she didn't offer us to legoland, anyway! hahaha!! (lina, January 29, 2013 at 10:41 PM @ http://twilightzone518.blogspot.com/2013/01/priceless-heavenly-tea.html)
Deleteso bad... hahaha
DeleteLOL, I'm not saying anything :p
Deletelegoland.. at least there is some attraction in Malaysia..
ReplyDeletenot just only Genting theme park..
Genting is not bad, I mean the weather, hihi!
DeleteTheme park is mostly for children and those young-at-heart :)
I like to go theme park..
ReplyDeletewhen I was in the states I visit all the disneyland and universal studio..
Love it and will play all the ride as many times as possible...
well of course those theme parks in US are more happening and grander than the peanut sesame in Malaysia.. well, why not you go to Legoland and then compare to any one you have been to in US?? :p
DeleteShare your photos taken in US theme park, le. Ah Hua wants to see Disneyland and Universal Studio.
Deleteso ah hua do you looks like a live grill lobster after it?
ReplyDeleteI remember my sis went to the Tambun lost world and she become so red after a hot sunny day during CNY..
Ah Hua came home in one piece. No cracked or char siew skin, LOL~ We applied layers and layers of sun block :D
DeleteItu dua orang budak looks like Korean children coming to Legoland during their holiday lah..
ReplyDeleteNobody greeted them with "annyeong haseyo" ah? ;)
because the people there very shy, when they see foreigners they will quickly run away, worry the foreigners will ask them for directions~~ :D
DeleteHaha, actually there was one handsome Korean-lookalike flower boy (not sure his nationality, but he was darn handsome until Ah Hua salivated) touched my son's head when we walked pass him. Now regret I didn't make any move -__-
DeleteAiyoyo!!!! So rugi!
Delete600KM.........=_="""
ReplyDeleteYep, can really see the weather was extremely hot!
But at least everyone had fun, right? ;)
DeleteEh, why only Avery had sunglasses? What about Little Chi? Hehe =]
Deleteyvonne is hinting you to get Little Chi a pair of sunglasses lor, you understand?? :p
DeleteLil Chi also own a pair of sunglasses but he refused to wear it. He said he can't see thing well, muehehehe!
Deletewow you also get to visit legoland huh
ReplyDeleteENVY!
i really love that place as well as those lego trucks on the first picture
Lego is every kid's dream toy, yes, no?
DeleteI like Lego when I was young and still do :)
well it opposite in hear weve been experiencing quite a chilly weather lately anyway i bet those kids ignored the heat
ReplyDeletethey enjoyed the whole place of course
You are right, children don't care about the weather as long as they get to play and have fun! Only adults like me whine, haha~ I should be grateful and enjoy the day.
Deletehave a great and god blessed day yvonne
ReplyDeletetake care always and enjoy blogging
Same to you, have a nice day, MEcoy!
DeleteHave not been to Legoland! Looks like a nice place to bring the children. Your kids are very cute!
ReplyDeleteIt's a haven for all Lego lovers :)
DeleteAwww they look so cute together <3
ReplyDeleteYou have lovely children Yvonne
Thanks, Genskie!
Deleteso how's the place? it's really a long distance from perak, i can understand why you said the trip was exhausting! unless maybe can put up a night in kl and then continue on the journey next day, then it's not so tiring:)
ReplyDeleteOh, we stayed in KL for a night before proceeding to JB the next morning. But when we came home, it was a 7-hour non-stop drive.
DeleteHow I wish to stop by KL on our way back, but we are lacking of time :(
Awww, cute photos!
ReplyDeleteGo, Avery! We need girl engineers and architects and scientists! Yvonne, you could always give her some PINK Lego bricks ... :p
i would love it if ashley is into legos :P did you stay overnight near legoland? looks like a lot of fun but the hot sun is scary :(
ReplyDeleteOne day I must bring my kids there. I grew up with Lego. :)
ReplyDeleteWow! all the way from north to south, very good leh...I don't think I can survive the trip lol! I have yet to visit Lego land....hope it's worth the trip if I ever go there:P
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is such a genius, she built those trucks all by her own? My kids are not too crazy over Lego. Just ok. But still they enjoyed their trip to Legoland. Your kids so cute, always got a standard pose..hehehe.
ReplyDeleteLegoland eh, haven't been there before thou hehe
ReplyDeletenice toy cars / trucks haha, I thought little girl are suppose to play doll? XD jk jk
