Lotus and Batik

*warning: This is a stale post*

My daughter, Avery enjoys art very much although at some time she'll shows her laziness. Mamarazzi was so kind to send us a batik print and it perfectly fit for school holidays (or so I thought I would be free for a day but she completed it in 2 hours!!).
Work in progress
Thank you, mamarazzi!

An update, I'd just enrolled my children to an art class, which offers 3+1 program: three drawing-and-coloring lesson followed by one craft-making lesson. I hope their creativity will gets wider and wilder :)

    1. very true, and also provided that she is interested in doing that lah.. this will be the bottomline, if she is not interested, even if you force or cultivate her, it will not release all her potentials..

  22. Hi Yvonne, kids love to draw and pint, and good idea join that art class. She looks really engrossed with that painting...good too as helps improve their thinking and imagination.
I had a friend, a widower, taught his daughter cooking age 9....makes simple breakfast, boil eggs, cut vegetables...by 12 quite a good cook.
He joked her final test will be cooking curry.
Anyway, better than playing computer games all the time too.
You have fun and keep well.
    Lee.
